Giới từ - preposion 
Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn: In, On, At 
IN ( trong) 
Chỉ người hoặc sự vật ở trong 1 nơi nào đó 
In a box/ room/ sky/ water/ park/ book/ river/ kitchen/ 
picture/ pocket 
Eg: my mother is cooking in the garden 
Với phương tiện xe hơi, taxi hoặc đường phố 
In a car/taxi, in/on the street 
They live in Quang Trung street 
He arrived at school in a taxi 
Vơi danh từ không có mạo từ để diễn tả một người đang 
ở tại đó: in bed, in hospital, in prison 
He is still in bed 
Trước các đất nước, thành phố, phương hướng 
Tạo thanh cum từ chỉ nơi chốn: in the front/back of ,in 
the middle of 
Chỉ vị trí bên trên, và tiếp xúc với 1 mặt của 1 vật gì đó: on 
the floor/river/beach 
Eg: I sat on the beach 
Tuấn’s picture is on page 4 
Với phương tiện đi lại công cộng hoặc cá nhân 
On a bus/train/ship/plane/. 
Tạo thah cụm từ chỉ nơi chốn: on the right/left, on the way 
to, on top of., on the back/front of 
On (trên) 
At (Ở) 
Diễn tả 1 vị trí được xác định trong không gian hoặc số nhà: at 
the door/ bus stop/ traffic lights/party/meeting 
At 5/16d quang trung street 
Someone is standing at the floor 
Để tạo thành cụm từ chỉ nơi chốn: 
At home/school/college/work 
At the top/bottom of(the page) 
At the end of(the street) 
At the front/back of 
At/on the corner of the street

1 số cụm từ chỉ 1 khoảng thời gian trong tương lai 
In a few minute, in an hour, in a day/week/month.

( in time: vừa kịp lúc / on time 
In the end = at last = finally 
On 
Chỉ thứ trong tuần, ngày trong tháng 
On Monday, on 5th march, on this/that day 
I was born on 10th june, 1994 
Để chỉ buổi trong ngày hoặc 1 ngày cụ thể: on Friday morning, 
new year’s day, 
See you on Friday morning 
At 
Chỉ thời gian,các bữa ăn trong ngày: at 5 a.m, at 
sunrise/sunset/dawn/noon/twilight/night/at breakfast. 
I get up at 5 o’clock every morning 
Để chỉ 1 lễ hội,1 thời khắc nào đó: at the weekend, at 
chirstmas/ easter, at the same time, at this/that time 
She is busy at the moment 
Để tạo thành các cụm giới từ 
At the end/beginning of, at the age of, at first/last 
He came to live in london at the age of 18 
KHÔNG DÙNG: in, on, at trước all/every/this next/last

From.to, until, till (từ đến) = betweenand

Since (từ khi-mốc thời gian)
